  1. WHMCS version 5

I thought I would take a moment to share that we have released J!WHMCS Integrator 2.2.9 and J!WHMCS Integrator 2.3.7 this evening, and both support WHMCS version 5.

Both version 2.2.9 and 2.3.7 are being released as stable, which I am sure is against some sort of protocol of only having one stable product at a time. The reason we did this was we didn't want to confuse anyone who may be using 2.2.8.1 who may suddenly find they need to upgrade to version 2.3.7. There are a number ...

  2. Long Time No Post... 3.0 Update

Wow, has it been six months already? I have to get out more...

I wanted to put up a post about the status of version 3.0, but need to get everyone caught up to speed first.

Integrator 3: A Code Too Far

  3. Integrator 3.0: Sneak peak

It's been a month since my last entry, and I thought I would go ahead and write about what I'm most excited about in Integrator 3.0. I'm going to write about 2 of the upcoming features in Integrator 3.0: Multi-Site Rendering and True Joomla Item Usage.

    Multi-Site Rendering
As the name may suggest, Integrator 3.0 is going to allow you to retrieve multiple sites to wrap around the same installation of WHMCS. This means you can have ten different domains, each with different ...
  4. Before Installing J!WHMCS Integrator

Hey all, long time since I've blogged so no better time than the present.

One thing that I've been seeing quite a bit of is people purchasing the integrator and trying to install it without even completing the installation and set up of WHMCS. I cannot count the number of support tickets with get from people who still have www.yourdomain.com as their WHMCS URL in the WHMCS configuration.

During install, J!WHMCS has to grab URL and path information from somewhere ...
  5. Joomla 1.6: It's in the details

One of the greatest challenges in developing for a CMS like Joomla is in trying to use internal functionality that is already available from the CMS in a consistent manner. What I mean, is each developer has their own way of including files or scripts, but the CMS often times has ways that makes developing easier, if only the developer knows.

For me, including images for icons, stylesheets and javascript files has always proven challenging, particularly as development evolves. I ...
