I am in the middle of testing and updating my code to support WHMCS v 4.2.1

At this time 4.2.1 is NOT supported in 2.0.1 of the Integrator - there are a number of changes that are made to the code that need to be addressed and accomodated, so please do not upgrade to 4.2.1 until I have had a chance to get an update out for 2.0.1.

IF YOU HAVE UPGRADED YOUR SITE TO WHMCS v 4.2.1

The API functionality likely broke for your site and there are three missing files in the configuration parameters to assign menu items to.

WHAT THIS PATCH DOES

This patch will repair the broken API functionality caused by the release of WHMCS 4.2.1. This will also allow your site to wrap around the three new template instances

WHAT THIS PATCH DOES NOT DO

Extend the functionality of WHMCS or Joomla to incorporate the new changes in WHMCS. Extended functionality will take some time to incorporate into the product.

PATCH INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Download the patch file by logging into this site and visiting "My Products and Services" on the right. Click on the your license for more information and you will see the patch file listed in the available downloads there.
  2. Extract the three files contained within the patch archive. Those files are README.txt, config.xml and class.curl.php.
  3. Open an FTP client and navigate the remote end to your Joomla site. Change to the <joomla>/administrator/components/com_jwhmcs/ directory.
  4. Upload the new config.xml file, overwriting the existing file.
  5. Now change to the <joomla>/administrator/components/com_jwhmcs/classes/ directory.
  6. Upload the new class.curl.php file, overwriting the existing file.
  7. Log into the Joomla administrator backend.
  8. Go to the J!WHMCS Integrator component. Click on "Parameters" in the top right of the screen.
  9. Once the parameters have loaded, click Save - do not click Cancel.
  10. Go to the J!WHMCS Integrator User Manager. Click on "Find All Matches" to be sure any failed logins that were removed are re-added to the xref table.

That should be it - verify functionality by visiting your site and logging into the front end. B)

I just reposted the patch to the license page - my apology. If you have downloaded 2.0.3 you won't need the patch however, as it has been integrated into the current release (v 2.0.3)

If I am running 4.2.1, what extended functionality are you referring to.

Is there anything that does not work once we integrate to Joomla ??

No, it will work as before, however one of the big new features is sub account logins - that currently is not integrated with Joomla, though that is in the works for the next release if all goes well.
