We've had some minor bug updates to both the Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.6 version of J!WHMCS. We've also made some changes to how bugs are reported to integrate with our development program you can see it in action here, (Bugzilla).
Don't forget to report bugs if you find them. We do not have user integration with Bugzilla at this time. Now on to the updates.
J!WHMCS 2.2.6 - (Supports Joomla 1.5 and WHMCS 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5) Release Notes
Problem: In our case, we use maxmind fraud protection but if the user was just registering through our integrated registration form, it would allow them to register with a free email address. This added their username and account to both Joomla and vBulletin but when they went to purchase or login, they could not login to WHMCS because they were not added to that system.
Solution: We've added the ability to check against 4,200 + known free email addresses during registration on our integrated registration form when using the free email reject mod from WHMCS.
Other Changes in 2.2.6 include:
Ability to specify password redirect menu item in configuration added
J!WHMCS 2.3.3 - (Supports Joomla 1.6 and WHMCS 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5) Release Notes
As many of you know, we have been working on the new 3.0 version of JWHMCS which is not quite wrapped up and during this time Joomla 1.6 was released. On Feb 10 we released a beta version of J!WHMCS and so far we've been happy with the results.
This latest release of 2.3.3 is a bug fix very similar to that of 2.2.6 but for Joomla 1.6 and we're pleased to have this product ready now for installation. While not what we'd consider STABLE, it is a Release Candidate and we're confident enough in it to release it to our members.
Most of the minor fixes in this release are very similar to 2.2.6 and you can see there here: Release Notes
