As of December 1, 2011 we will be discontinuing our Leased License Program. This means a leased license will no longer be available.

Current Leased Licenses:

If you have a leased license you may continue to keep the leased license for as long as you pay the lease. Leases that are more than 60 Days past due are terminated as they were previously but if your license is terminated due to non-payment, after December 1, 2011 leasing will no longer be an option.

Black Friday - Cyber Monday Specials:

As we get closer to the holiday season people start asking about Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials and yes, we're going to have them. The specials will be as follows:
  • Leased License to Owned: We will be offering a leased license upgrade offer to move to an owned license of J!WHMCS. This in in preparation for the launch of Integrator 3 because there will be no leases on the new product. If you have a leased version of J!WHMCS there's really no migration process to the new Integrator 3 so if you plan to upgrade to our new product, you'll want to take advantage of this up-and-coming special.
  • Legacy Leased License to Owned: We will be offering a special discount to those who have been on the legacy leased license and opportunity to upgrade to an owned license, again in preparation for the new launch of Integrator 3.

Integrator 3:

As many of you know, we've been working on a new product that will end up replacing J!WHMCS called Integrator 3.0. This product is a completely new product that is a stand-alone product and will not be dependent on Joomla.
Integrator 3 Features Include:
  • Multi-Site/Script Integration - This means it can connect and integrated into Joomla, Wordpress, Kayako, (soon: drupal, vBulletin,.. and more) and can integrate into multiples of each. So one WHMCS Installation could be integrated into 2 or more installations of Joomla using the css from the respective Joomla sites.
  • Control Modules on WHMCS Pages - This will allow control over modules on individual WHMCS pages. Currently the site renders either logged in or logged out... With Integrator 3, you'l have the ability to publish modules on the checkout page but not on the client portal, (for example).
  • Fully Supports Wordpress Integrations - When we release, it will support Wordpress
  • Handles Users Across all Applications - When a user registers on one site, they will be registered on all integrated applications. If they change their user information in one place, it will update their user information across all. Example: You have Joomla and Wordpress and WHMCS and the same user will have access to all 3. Or you have two installations of Joomla and one support system using Kayako, users will be integrated to all applications that are connected.
  • Visual Integration - Lets say you have two Joomla sites and you're connected to both. WHMCS will be integrated into each and will use the css of Joomla so they will integrate into each site differently and uniquely.
  • User Integration - All users are matched on the fly via Email Address. Users can be updated manually from within the Integrator Settings and changes take place on all applications.
Integrator 3 is going to be a great product with the idea of being able to extend into other products. We're not quite ready to release it yet as there is documentation and a little cleaning up to do but it's on it's way and we're getting ready with a new site launch as well.

Notice! Support and Upgrade Subscription on Owned Licenses:

For those of you with owned licenses and a yearly support and upgrade subscription, we're going to be offering a migration plan to the new Integrator 3. If however, you do not have an active yearly support subscription, you will not be migrated or grandfathered into the new Integrator 3. Your support and upgrade subscription is critical to keep current and if it's not current, (we will send notice and give opportunity to become current) to get Integrator 3 you will have to purchase a new license and your old JWHMCS License will still be valid and active as well.

We will continue to support J!WHMCS for at least another year, maybe longer, as we know WHMCS and Joomla will be upgraded as well.

WHMCS V5 - The new version of WHMCS will be launching soon and we have the beta installed and tested and have updates ready for this launch. Please allow a window of 3 days after WHMCS announces the stable release before expecting J!WHMCS or Integrator 3 to be fully compatible. DO NOT submit a support ticket the day it's launched and after you already upgraded. Please give us time to make sure that our products are ready for this new version. Right now it's looking good so 3 days is ample.

We have a new product that is ready but we're releasing at the time of our new site Launch on December, 1. Belong is essentially going to manage the access to content in Joomla (ACL) based on the WHMCS subscription.

Belong will be able to assign users to user groups in Joomla based on their subscriptions in WHMCS. So if you have content or a bonus bin or something that is meant only for those customers who have subscribed to it, Belong is what you'll want. It's only available for Joomla 1.7 and only available after December 1, 2011.
