Session bridging refers to the process of matching a users' session on the visual connection to the same users' session on the requesting application. For example, if logged into WHMCS and the session is bridged over from Joomla, then Joomla will see the user is actually logged in and will render all third party applications, modules content etc as the logged in user.
With session bridging, the rendering of modules and menu items is intuitive so a module that is set to Registered or Special will be rendered if the user has the appropriate permissions.
Page Rendering Technique
The page rendering technique is the manner that the product actually retrieves a page from the visual site to wrap around the application.
Based On Status
This method relies solely on the logged in or logged out status of the user on the originating application. This means that only two possible pages are available based solely on their status, which permits you to set certain content on a page.
Individual Page Mapping
With this method, a page being requested on the originating application can have a matched page on the visual page, allowing you to create content and modules for that particular page. If a page isn't mapped, then the default page will be used.
